Tag 01: Ankunft in New Delhi

Bei Ihrer Ankunft am New Delhi – Flughafen werden Sie von unserem Mitarbeiter direkt am Flughafen begrüßt und danach von ihm zu Ihrem Homestay gefahren.  Dort beginnt Ihre Reise in Indien in der Wärme einer Familien-Unterkunft. Thikana meint in Hindi “der Platz wo Du hingehörst” ist Ihr Ziel für Komfort im Herzen der Stadt.  Schauen Sie sich einfach die Umgebung an (direkt am Park) oder relaxen Sie komfortabel. Das Thikana erzeugt eine warme und gemptliche Umgebung, die Ihren Aufenthalt so komfortabel wie möglich gestaltet.  Das Thikana nimmt am “Bed and Breakfast” Schema des staatlichen Fremdenverkehrsministeriums teil. scheme launched by India Tourism.  Der Abend ist zur freien Verfügung. Tag 2: New Delhi mit altem Delhi

Nach dem Frühstück werden Sie einen vollen Tag von einem Führer auf einer Tour durch Delhi begleitet. Sie sehen, die Jama Masjid – Moschee, eines der Geschenke von Shah Jahan an Delhi. Sie ist eine der grössten Moscheen, nicht nur in Indien, sondern auch weltweit. Danach besuchen Sie Chandni Chowk, einer der Hauptmärkte in Delhi. Am Nachmittag sehen Sie Qutub Minar, der sagenumwobene Ruinenpalast aus dem Jahre 1199. Humayun´s Grabmal aus rotem Sandstein ist das Vorbild für das Taj Mahal gewesen. Zum Schluss besuchen Sie das “India Gate” ein Triumphbogen im Regierungsviertel von Delhi. (War Memorial Arch). Abends übernachten Sie wieder im Homestay.

DAY 03: DELHI / AGRA {200 KM / 04 HRS}

Breakfast at Hotel and drive to Agra, upon arrival check in at your home stay while visiting Agra.

DAY 04: AGRA / JAIPUR {265 KM / 06 HRS} ENROUTE VISIT FATEHPUR SIKRI

Early morning sightseeing of Taj Mahal, blushing in the rosy glow of dawn. Taj Mahal:(Taj remains closed on Friday) renowned for its spectacular architecture, seven wonders of the world and built by Shah Jahan for his lady love Queen Mumtaz Mahal in 1632. Later breakfast at hotel and then Guided sightseeing Agra Fort, Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, is a master piece of design with beautiful mosques and palaces.
After noon drive to Jaipur en rout visiting Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) Emperor Akbar built it as his capital city in the late 16th century. Built of red sandstone, the fort looks like poetry on stone, a magnificent new city rose on the craggy hills.

DAY 05: JAIPUR

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, take an excursion to Amber Fort, is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace and enjoy an Elephant ride at bottom to top of the hill at Amber fort. In the after noon visit City Palace -a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, Jantar Mantar, is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use; visit to Hawa Mahal, the ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. DAY 06: JAIPUR / BIKANER (330 KM/6.30 HRS)

After a hearty breakfast head towards Bikaner, check in at Home Stay – Home away from Home. Evening visit to Junagarh Fort – One of the most imposing forts of northern India– Junagarh Fort– has remained unconquered till date. This fort was built in 15th century by one of the most able and trusted generals of Akbar, Raja Rai Singh Lallgarh Palace- Designed by a Britisher for Maharaja Ganga Singh, this palace dispalys a magnificient blend of oriental and european style. The imposing red sandstone monument is designed by Sir Swinton Jacob for Maharaja Ganga Singh. Camel Breeding farm – It is 10 kms away from the city and probably the only one of its kind in Asia and managed by the government.

DAY 07: BIKANER/JAISLAMER (333 KM/6.30 HRS)

Morning breakfast at hotel later you will be leaving for Jaisalmar. Upon arrival check in at Home stay, It is an ideal place for those visitors, who prefer to stay with Indian family, it is an ideal apartment for those families, who want to do their own cooking or want to witness the Indian live cooking.

DAY 08: JAISALMER / SAM {40 KM / 01 HR}

After breakfast sightseeing of Jaisalmer which includes: Jaisalmer Fort – Jaisalmer fort is the second oldest in Rajasthan after Chittor and commands the desertscape from its 250 feet high perch on the hill. Three strong walls protect the citadel. The first buttress wall was constructed by the local Jain panchayat in the 15th century. Subsequent additions and fortifications were built by the Rawals. Salem Singh Haveli – It is at an unhurried pace that the havelis (houses of rich merchants) should be seen and admired. These havelis are the pride of Jaisalmer architecture, a part of the national heritage. Salem Singh haveli, at the eastern end of the city, is an Arabian Nights structure, which, like a wild flower, blossoms at the top. Patwon ki Havel Near the city center is the Patwon ki Haveli, built by Guman Chand Patwa and his five sons, dealers in brocade, gold and silver embroidery with business stretching between Afghanistan and Chaina.
After noon drive to Sam Village, upon arrival check in at Rawla Camp. Evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes and experience Camel ride.

DAY 09: JAISALMER/ JODHPUR (280 KM/ 5 HRS)

Morning after breakfast leave for Jodhpur, upon arrival check in at your home stay The ambianceis that of a urban home (Haveli) of a Rajput Zamindar ( Land Lord).
After noon Guided sightseeing of Jodhpur Meharangarh Fort: One of the largest forts in India, it is unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately. Various folk musicians and bands gather here on occasions and perform against the magical backdrop of the fort – reviving the regal splendour of a bygone era. Jaswant Thada: The 19th Century royal cenatoph, a creation in white marble was built in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and displays some rare portraitsof Jodhpur’s rulers.

DAY 10:JODHPUR / MOUNT ABU {285 KM / 05 HRS} ENROUTE VISIT RANAKPUR TEMPLES

Morning after breakfast drive to Mount Abu en route visiting Ranakpur temples, which are acclaimed world-wide for their intricate and superb architectural style. These temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jains. Located in village of Ranakpur near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan, Ranakpur temple lies at a distance of 95 kms in the north of Udaipur city.
Upon arrival check at Home stay for 01 night. Mount Abu situated at a average height of 1,219 mtr’s above sea level the oasis in the deserted land of Rajasthan and posses the honor of being the only hill-station in Rajasthan as well as north-west India, The world famous tourist destination is known for its Delwara Jain temples and natural beauty world over, situated amidst lush green forested hills on the highest peak in the Aravali range is also the home to lakes, waterfalls and green forests, the hill retreat, has a very cool and soothing climate thanks to its rich flora covering the entire hillside that includes coniferous trees and flowering shrubs.

DAY11: MOUNT ABU / UDAIPUR (185 KM/ 04 HRS)

After breakfast you will proceed for half day guided sightseeing tour of Mount Abu covering the famous 11th century Dilwara Jain temple complex, Adhar Devi Temple, Nakki Lake and at sunset, visit the Sunset Point.
Later drive to Udaipur, upon arrival in Udaipur check in at homestay for 02 nights.

DAY12:UDAIPUR

After breakfast This day morning you will be proceeding for a full-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Covering City Palace, on the banks of the Lake Pichola. The magnificent and awe inspiring citadel is, in fact, a complex of several buildings that were added at different times by different rulers spanning nearly three hundred years. Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum houses a very interesting collection of Rajasthani folk art – costumes, paintings, folk deities, musical instruments, masks, dolls and weapons. You could also spend some quiet moments at the Sahelion Ki Bari, (Garden of the Maids of Honour), a small ornamental garden with fountains, once the site for royal picnics, or the impressive Gulab Bagh (Rose garden). The Jagdish Temple, built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, is located within easy walking distance from the Palace gate. It is an impressive, beautifully proportioned structure, covered with carved friezes and heavily decorated inside.
Evening enjoy Boat Ride on Lake Pichola.

DAY13: UDAIPUR / DELHI BY TRAIN 2964 MEWAR EXP. AT 18:30 HRS

Day free on own to be relax and evening transfer to Railway station to board in over night train to Delhi. Over night at Train.

DAY14: ARRIVAL AT DELHI BY TRAIN 2964 MEWAR EXP. AT 06:15 HRS

On arrival at 06:15 hrs, welcome by our representative and you will be transferred to International airport to board in flight for your next destination.
