Day 01: Delhi IGI airport arrive_

On your arrival at the Delhi, international airport, welcome by our representative & you will be transferred to hotel for 02 nights. Reach and check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi

Morning breakfast at hotel and later guided sightseeing of Old & New Delhi covering, The Jama Masjid one of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India, Chandni Chowk, - One of the main markets of Delhi, Qutub Minar, one of the world’s heritage site, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal. Visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi/ Agra by surface (205 Km/ 4 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Agra, upon arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Afternoon visit

Agra Fort, Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D , is a master piece of design with beautiful mosques and palaces. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Agra/ Bharatpur by surface (60 Km/ 1 hrs) via Fatehpurr sikri

Taj visit by sunrise, Taj Mahal: renowned for its spectacular architecture, seven wonders of the world and built by Shah Jahan for his lady love Queen Mumtaz Mahal in 1632. and back to hotel for breakfast & later drive to Jaipur en route visit Fatehpur Sikri (40 Km from Agra) Emperor Akbar built it as his capital city in the late 16th century. Built of red sandstone, the fort looks like poetry on stone. , a magnificent new city rose on the craggy hills. Upon arrival in Bharatpur check into hotel for 02 nights stay. Rest of the day leisure at hotel.

Day 05: Bharatpur

Breakfast at hotel and later visit with naturalist Bharatpur Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is one of the finest bird parks in the world and a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar. Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary is open throughout the year; still the ideal visiting months are from August-November for resident breeding birds and October- February for migrant birds.

This magnificent bird haven in actual came into being paradoxically as a duck shooting preserve for Maharaja Suraj Mull of Bharatpur. He transformed the shallow depression formed by the confluence of River Gambhir and River Banganga into a reservoir by damming the rainwater in monsoons. Flooding of water created shallow wetland ecosystem causing it to be a perfect habitat for an astounding variety of birds. The park that was a hunting preserve for the Maharaja and the British continued to be so till 1964, after which the hunting was banned.

Day 06: Bharatpur/ Jaipur by surface (175 Km/ 4 hrs)

Leisurely breakfast at hotel and later drvie to Jaipur, and while on the entry to Rajasthan visit an eastern Rajasthan village. Where you will see life style, as well as school of in rural area. Later drive to Abhaneri for the lunch & visit stepwells.

Continue your drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check into hotel for 02 nights stay.

Day 07: Jaipur

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, take an excursion to Amber Fort, is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it’s ultimate expression and enjoy an Elephant ride at bottom to top of the hill at Amber fort.

In the after noon visit City Palace -a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city then proceed for Jantar Mantar, is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use, visit to Hawa Mahal, the ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine Trelliswork and elaborate balconies. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Jaipur/ Delhi by surface (265 Km/ 6 hrs)

Leisurely breakfast at hotel and later drive to Delhi, upon arrival check into hotel for 01 night stay.

Day 09: Delhi/ Kathmandu by flight

After breakfast departure transfer to IGI airport for flight to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative & transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about the program by our representative. Rest day at leisure.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

After breakfast, introduce with the Sightseeing Guide & driver. We set to the first day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. This day you will see the following spots; the details are as described below:

Swoyambhunath

The four seeing eyes of Swoyambhunath Stupa watch over the valley from the top of 77-m high hillock on western side. This most glorious Stupa in the world, is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake. The surroundings of the Swoyambhunath are covered with small Chaityas & monasteries as well as some Hindu temples. The National Museum and the Museum of Natural History are situated at the foot of the hill.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between 12th and 18th Centuries, used to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. It is the place where kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnized. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. Kumari Temple: Kumari temple is the residence of the Living Goddess. Kumari, known as Virgin Goddess has got some specialties, she must be chosen from a typical Newari cast with no body marks & injuries & will be replaced by another Kumari after puberty. Kasthamandap: Kasthamandap is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree in the sixteenth century situated near to the Kumari Temple. The name Kathmandu was named after this temple.

Patan City:

Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting mélange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is 17th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone. Tibetan Refugee Camp: This camp was set up in 1960 under the initiative of the International Red Cross & the Swiss Development Corporation in corporation with HMG of Nepal. Its main objective is to help the Tibetan Refugees to do something nice & support themselves & some carpet industries & handicrafts have been operating.

Day 11: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

After breakfast set for the another day sightseeing:

Boudhanath

This Stupa lies 6-km downtown Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, has the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It was built in the fifth century AD. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. One can observe devotees chanting religious hymns & playing with prayer wheels.

Pashupatinath Temple

Situated 5 km east on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, the temple of Lord Shiva with two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its superb architecture. Chronicles indicate the temple’s existence prior 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati River

Bhaktapur City:

Durbar Square: As you walk in, you can not but be overcome by a feeling of inner harmony. Such is the art and architecture and the special layout here. The 15th century Palace of 55 windows, situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspires admiration. The National Art Gallery is also situated inside. The Palace Entrance, Golden Gate that is the entrance to the main courtyard of the Palace of 55 windows, is masterpiece in repousse art. In front of the palace building is a medley of temples of various designs. There are temples like Batsala Temple and the Shiva temple, the replica of Pashupatinath Temple etc. Nyatapola Temple: This five story pagoda was built in 1702 AD. Each story has pair of figures (two wrestlers, two elephants, two lions, two griffins and goddess’s tigress & lioness). This temple is one of the tallest pagodas & famous for its massive structure and subtle workmanship.

Day 12: Kathmandu/ Lumbini drive

Drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. About 7-8 hrs drive. Drive passes through the bank of the famous rivers of Nepal, enjoying the natural beauties; green forests & gorges, after 4 hrs, the drive enters into lowland of Nepal where the roads are straight & wide. Upon arrival in Lumbini. Check in to the hotel & rest days at free.

Day 13: Lumbini

Visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion & non-violence. Here one can see the broken Ashok pillar, remnants of an old monastery, images of Buddha’s mother Maya Devi etc. are still preserved in Lumbini. Visit sacred Garden where Buddha was born, Mayadevi Temple, and Puskarni Pond where Buddha’s mother had taken a bath before giving birth to Buddha. Visit different monasteries, which represent different countries like Myanmar Temple, China Temple, Korean Temple, Nepal Buddha Temple etc.

Day 14: Lumbini/ Kathmandu drive

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu, upon arrival check into hotel for 01 night stay.

Day 15: Kathmandu/ Delhi by flight

Morning breakfast at hotel and later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi, arrival transfer to hotel (Near the International airport) for 01 night.

Day 16: Delhi/ Home

Breakfast at hotel and later departure transfer to IGI airport for flight back to home.
